Charred Swift Creek & Ronald McDonald House of Richmond
Spreading holiday cheer and supporting families with children in medical care.
This holiday season, Charred Swift Creek is honored to partner with the Ronald McDonald House of Richmond (RMHC Richmond) to help make the season a little brighter for families with children receiving medical treatment here in our community.
Why We’re Partnering with RMHC Richmond
At Charred Swift Creek, we believe great food brings people together—and that community is built one act of kindness at a time.
This year, we’re teaming up with the Ronald McDonald House of Richmond, an organization that provides a “home away from home” for families whose children are receiving medical care. While their kids focus on healing, RMHC focuses on the rest: a warm place to stay, meals, support, and a caring community.
Our goal is simple: use our restaurant as a place where good times and good food can also do real good for local families.
How Our Holiday Giving Tree Works
Kickoff & Ornament Decorating
We’re launching our Holiday Giving Tree with a special Kickoff Night on Tuesday, November 18 at 5:00 PM.
Kids and families are invited to help decorate ornaments that will hang on our Giving Tree.
The Tree Goes Up
The Giving Tree will be on display at Charred Swift Creek starting the weekend after Thanksgiving and will remain up throughout the holiday season.
Each Ornament = A Chance to Give
Every ornament includes a QR code that links to easy ways to support RMHC Richmond—through wish lists, needed items, or direct donations.
